1. Make sure that you have enabled the virtualization feature in your computer’s BIOS
  2. Disable Hyper-V in Windows.
  3. Open Android SDK Manager and install Android Emulator Hypervisor Driver for AMD Processors. In Visual Studio, you will find this in Tools/Android/Android SDK Manager. Make sure that you have HAXM disabled.
  1. Open command prompt with administrativ rights and browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\extras\google\Android_Emulator_Hypervisor_Driver>
  2. execute silent_install.bat and check the state which should be running:
